A poem about the Letter to the Romans.
From east and west, north and south, The letter to Romans speaks with mouth. Of faith and grace, the Gospel's power, A message for every believer to devour.
For Catholics, it speaks of works and faith, And justification by God's saving grace. Through sacraments and charity so true, Salvation's gift, offered to me and you.
For Protestants, it speaks of faith alone, And the assurance of salvation shown. By grace through faith, we are made clean, In Christ alone, we can all be redeemed.
For Orthodox, it speaks of unity in Christ, And the sacraments of faith and life. Of theosis, and our becoming divine, Through Christ's work, we can all shine.
No matter the denomination, or the creed, The letter to Romans, meets our every need. Of salvation, grace, and faith so pure, It's a message that we can all procure.
